When the Toon Studios opened this June and replaced the Animation Courtyard what surprised many long times observers besides the great atmosphere of the new area, was the decision of the resort NOT to add another restaurant or shop with the expansion. Instead only several sales carts are offering snacks and the small shop in the Art of Disney Animation provides a limited offering.
But now a new (temporary ?) stand was opened on the huge plaza in front of Studio 3 (which is housing the show Animagique). 
The sales stands offers a limited choice of general Disney items but specializes mostly in Finding Nemo and Cars related merchandise tying into the themes of the two new attractions attracting huge crowds in the Toon Studios since early June. This selection not only fits into the Toon Studios but also nicely compliments the already open shop in the Art of Disney Animation building (which offers amongst others Disney Classic Collection figurines). Also its location keeps it away from the smaller walkways of the new expansion area and thus stretches out the crowds better into the open plaza.
